Who am I, really?
Good question! As you can already tell from the URL, I'm Daniël – a true frontend nerd with a passion for everything related to web development. Since 2018, I've been building for the web and enjoy discovering new technologies and frameworks all the time.
Learning is at the heart of what I do. The world of frontend development is changing rapidly, and I believe you never stop learning. Whether it’s new libraries, frameworks, or innovative CMS solutions, I’m always on the lookout for the next challenge.
Currently, I work at Global Orange, where I build modern applications using ReactJS and NextJS. In my free time, I love experimenting with personal projects and contributing to open source.
Besides my technical work, I also have a creative side. I'm fascinated by design and user experience, and I strive to combine these elements in my projects to deliver an optimal user experience. And importantly, since 2025 there's the accessibility act, which requires websites to be fully accessible to people with disabilities – bringing along new challenges of its own.
